Homeschool News

2012 / 2013
Since we are a homeschool family, any vacation could and should include neat places to visit. Places that we can learn about and that has interesting things for the boys to interact with
The following pictures are from a family vacation that we took up north. I bought a laminated map and a dry erase marker that helped the boys learn what states we were passing through and the route that we were taking.

The first stop on our journey north was the St. Louis Arch. If you've never been, you owe it to yourself and your family to go. Make sure you watch the documentary movie on how it was built in the Tucker Theater:) and GO UP TOP!
Shane took this pic.  It's my favorite.

This museum is located directly beneath the arch.

We had been driving for a while so we stopped at a rest area and grilled out of the back of the truck. Then we played awhile.

The Silver Lake Sand Dunes are AWESOME! Pictures cannot convey how unique and beautiful this place really is.

The boys and I climbed this lighthouse at Lake Michigan.

Indianapolis Children's Museum was INCREDIBLE!

We had such a great time! Thank God for family time and good memories!
